The basics

Well I'll begin by telling you a little bit about myself. I'm Lisa and I have a 7 month old daughter called Chloe. My partner, Chloe's dad, is called Neil. We live in Northern Ireland and we're both Subaru/car mad. In fact, that is how we met. We both drive Impreza's.



At present we're living with Neils parents in their big, old farmhouse as he is trying to set up his own business. We figured it would be a good way of saving money. That's all well and good but, as anyone who has lived with parents/in-laws will know, it is emotionally draining. It a big house so physically we have a lot of room, but mentally we're smothered.



His parents are nice, so that's not the problem. But when you're trying to raise a family you want to do it your own way. His mother, on the other hand, wants me to do it hers. So that creates a lot of tension. I just can't wait until we're back in our own wee house.
